Yves Cuilleron Marsanne “Les Vignes d’à Côté” 2023

$44.00

Region: Collines Rhodaniennes, Rhône, France
Varietal: Marsanne
Vintage: 2023

The Wine
Managed by Yves Cuilleron, a leading modernist in Rhône viticulture, this regional Marsanne is from hand-harvested vines on granite and alluvial soils. Fermentation and ageing pulse across foudre, barrique, and tank for seven months on lees.

Cellared Says
Silky and aromatic—white orchard fruits, citrus zest and floral nuances are balanced by delicate nutty edge and subtle minerality. Loved this at a panel tasting, not as complex as his other offering but for the money the bang for buck is excellent. Wonderful wine that will age well into those honeyed notes the variety is famous for. Bargain.

Wine Reviews
“Aromas of fresh citrus and orchard fruits joined by minerals and florals. Round and velvety on the palate with ripe pear, orange and honey flavors showing clarity and floral lift.”
