Vietti Barolo Cerequio 2021
Region: La Morra, Barolo, Italy
Variety: Nebbiolo
Vintage: 2021
The Wine
From the celebrated Cerequio amphitheatre of La Morra—warm, sheltered and renowned for producing plush, perfumed, silk-textured Barolo. Vietti farms two parcels of 40–50-year-old vines.
Fermentation is traditional with long maceration; maturation extends for ~30 months in large oak botti. The 2021 delivers red berry purity, rose petals, sweet spice and ultra-fine, melting tannins.
Cellared Says
The most seductive wine in the Vietti stable — silky, floral, elegant and impossibly refined. A standout Barolo of the vintage.
