The Wine
Crafted by Uccelliera, a modernist pioneer in Montalcino since 1991, this Brunello comes from 10 hectares of meticulously managed vineyards in Castelnuovo dell’Abate, planted between 1975 and 2000 at elevations ranging from 150 to 350 meters. The calcareous-clay and marl-rich soils impart both mineral tension and depth. The wine undergoes gentle destemming with dry ice, cold fermentation (12–27 °C) over 25–30 days, malolactic conversion in stainless steel, followed by a minimum of 24 months ageing in Slavonian and French oak—plus 6 months maturation in bottle before release.

Cellared Says
Elegant yet powerful: polished layers of red and black cherry, tobacco, leather, and underbrush weave through fine-grained tannins. A meticulously crafted Brunello that blew me away at a trade event. You can spend big for Brunello and there can be disappointment, but not here. This is pinpoint correct, suave, classy and totally brilliant.

Wine Reviews
“A modern slanting wine… lush with wooded spices, smoky cigar box, preserved cherry, sweet tobacco, and dried roses. Full-bodied and structured with crunchy fruits, refreshing acidity, and fantastic balance… will evolve beautifully into polished leather.”
96 Points – Jeb Dunnuck

“The nose showcases a spectrum of umami aromas… soil, balsamic, wild herbs. The palate leans into fruity notes with pepper heat and metallic structure. Tightly coiled tannins and buoyant acid accentuate citrus overtones.”
