Taittinger Brut Réserve NV Champagne
Region: Champagne, France
Variety: Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier
Base + Reserve Wines: Multi-vintage blend
The Wine
Brut Réserve is Taittinger’s signature cuvée — a Chardonnay-led blend (40%) giving the wine its hallmark finesse and lift. Sourced from 30–40 crus and containing a high proportion of mature reserve wines, the wine is aged for nearly four years in Taittinger’s ancient chalk cellars.
Expect bright citrus, brioche, white flowers and crisp stone fruit with a fine bead and refreshing mineral finish.
Cellared Says
Classically elegant, consistently over-delivering with great autolytic notes and richness. A benchmark non-vintage Champagne, a total bargain and a wine we often use for our corporate events. A total crowd pleaser with style and sophistication.
Wine Reviews
“Fresh lemon, chalk and white peach. Fine mousse. Crisp, elegant and pure.”
James Suckling – 92 Points
“Citrus-led with creamy texture and a long, chalky finish.”
Decanter – 91 Points
