Domaine Fabien Coche Pommard Vieilles Vignes 2023
Region: Pommard, Côte de Beaune
Variety: Pinot Noir
Vintage: 2023
Country: France
The Wine
A deeply expressive Pinot from vines planted between 1945 and 1995 in warm, chalky limestone soils of La Platière and Les Crenilles. Half of the fermentation uses whole bunches; aging includes 30% new oak from Damy and Remond, imparting structural layering without overshadowing fruit.
Cellared Says
Powerful yet refined—this Vieilles Vignes brings serious depth and finely textured tannins in a Pinot built for both enjoyment now and long-term evolution. personally I believe this needs a year or two to really open up. Big potential and great value, offering of mostly 1er cru fruit at village price from vines averaging 50+ years
