Domaine Fabien Coche Meursault Le Limozin 2023
Region: Meursault, Côte de Beaune
Variety: Chardonnay
Vintage: 2023
Country: France
The Wine
Meursault Le Limozin 2023 hails from a superbly sited 0.2-hectare parcel just below Premier Cru Genevrières, adjacent to Les Charmes on the south side towards the Puligny-Montrachet border. The 40–50-year-old vines produce a wine of creamy Meursault texture combined with bright, zesty lift. It delivers richness without weight, a hallmark of this cool-edge vineyard site. Bottled early April 2025 after elevage of about 18 months. Very fine structure and notable length this has lovely balance already and is the most immediately approachable of all his Meursaults. A very fine village wine of considerable complexity.
Cellared Says
Generously textured yet sculpted — luscious and weighty, with Meursault creaminess balanced by zesty lift and poised minerality. Quintessential Meursault.
Wine Reviews
“Depth and richness with proper Meursault creaminess, a light touch on the finish and a zesty edge—the wine lies just below Meursault’s Premier Crus.”
